This Storm Door Pet Door is designed to be installed into the majority of insulated storm doors, fitting 3/4" to 1 1/8" thick. This popular storm door pet door includes a single UV treatd and weatherized vinyl flap, to protect against shrinking, cracking, discoloring and warping. Six pet opening sizes are available, accommodating both cats and dogs ranging from the smallest to even the largest dog breeds. An insulated security panel secures the pet door completely off to deny pet access.

Installation for this Storm Door Pet Door is nearly identical to the installation process for a general residential door. The main difference is that you will want to choose a pet door that will fit your storm door thickness (the Storm Door Pet Door fits 3/4" to 1 1/8"). Most insulated storm doors fall within that thickness, most times measuring 1" thick, but you will want to meawsure to confirm before ordering. Many storm doors feature a panel design located on the lower half of the storm door, with a window at the top. There is no need to focus on fitting the pet door within the panel design, install the dog door where it will fit the dog best.
Notes: High Wind Magnets can replace the included alnico magnets for customers who live in severely windy areas.
